Mission And Responsibilities

Part of a team of Coty Technical Expert/Perfumer and working with all the technical perfumery team responsible for both the creation and technical understanding of fragrances used across the Coty Beauty portfolio, you will be responsible for the compounding of perfume oils supporting a multitude of different development projects and to support different projects linked to our expertise.

Job Responsibilities
  • Compounding of perfume oils following a perfumer’s composition.
  • Handling, order, cataloguing, storage and maintenance of perfume raw materials and standard oils.
  • Preparation and running of perfume raw material quality control evaluation sessions.
  • Preparation of samples.
  • Preparation and follow-up of DHL shipments.
  • Organization and preparation of evaluation sessions
  • Record and communication of the results of these panels.
  • Part of the olfactive evaluation of the different tests.
  • Conduct tests on perfumery ingredients in different chassis.
  • Document, record, summarize, make an interpretation and communicate results and observations on experimental data or panels
  • Develop and optimize our technical methods or processes
  • Support on new initiatives and our technologies by testing ingredients in stability in different chassis

Qualifications
  • Associate or Sr. Associate Level in a scientific field of study like chemistry, biology, pharmacy, food, material science, etc.
  • Process oriented, very focused and rigorous with high level of attention to detail.
  • Autonomous approach to work with a ‘go-get’ attitude
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) – Fluency in English.
  • An awareness of Good Manufacturing Procedures and/or Quality Assurance principles would be beneficial.
  • Basic Computer Skills - will need to be proficient with Excel and Word.
  • Collaboration – Strong collaboration skills will be required to ensure good working relationship with other team members in the lab, suppliers, staff members and supervisor.
