For an international bank in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated professional (m,w,d) to take up the following challenge:

Credit Risk Manager (Contract)

Job Description
  • Support the team in its business-as-usual responsibilities, eg:
  • Develop and assess views of the Divisional credit risk portfolio composition and its risk drivers, undertake analysis and investigation into key risk concentrations
  • Monitor emerging issues in credit risk and changes in the market, including stress and scenario analyses
  • Support country risk framework; cover report sign offs, challenge and enhance current status quo and address Credit Portfolio Management requirements in Divisional and Global projects
  • Support regulatory or internal/external auditor queries and delivery of regulatory or audit remediation
  • Support the Lombard-Front-to-Back-project as subject matter expert (SME) on credit portfolio management. This program will implement an automated and streamlined Lombard offering, monitoring and reporting on a state-of-the-art risk platform. Tasks include:
  • Provide and review requirements and use cases for Monitoring and Reporting
  • Participate in weekly SME meeting and on ad-hoc basis
  • Align different stakeholder views
  • Perform testing activities, including data quality checks
  • Support data quality and reconciliation
Requirements
  • At least 5 years’ experience in credit risk management, preferably in credit portfolio management (including credit stress testing, concentration risk management and development of risk appetite framework) or as a Lombard credit officer
  • In depth knowledge of Lombard processes (stress testing, methodology, monitoring, and reporting)
  • Experience in transformation projects as SME (defining and shaping business requirements, testing)
  • High analytical skills, ability to understand complexities within the credit portfolio and the impact of data sourcing and exposure calculations
  • Independent and systematic working style, high degree of flexibility, hands-on approach and high drive for innovation and changes
  • Excellent skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and handling of large data sets
  • University degree in finance or another quantitative major
  • Experience in Wealth Management products
  • Superior written and communication skills in English
  • German language skills
