On this team, you will work in the device trust and device intelligence space, with the goal to research and develop the latest intelligence and protection signals for Google and beyond. Our solutions are used to fight abuse, spam, and fraud. We provide solutions in the Android, Web, and iOS spaces, collaborating with both first-party, third-party clients, and the platform teams.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Android, Web, or iOS software engineers.
  • Build trust across teams and within the team, operating with high integrity.
  • Guide the team through periods of change, providing stability, and creating opportunity.
  • Drive alignment and clarity on direction and priorities.
  • Identify process gaps and lightweight solutions.
