The Center for Sustainable Finance and Private Wealth (CSP) is a university unit strategically focused on the advancement of sustainable development. We do so through the mechanism of sustainable finance, with a focus on private investors in the context of today’s substantial wealth concentration. Our means are research and training programs. Located at the Department of Banking and Finance at University of Zurich (UZH), we are a spin-off from a related research and training program at the Initiative for Responsible Investment at Harvard Kennedy School, and the former Center for Microfinance at UZH. We are deeply connected with the research practitioner community in our space globally (World Economic Forum, IRI at Harvard Kennedy School, MIT, Oxford University, The ImPact, toniic, Co-Impact), we have roughly 20 employees, and run multiple global projects at any given time.
