Your new role

The Head of Global Master Data / Business Partner is responsible for leading the successful design and delivery master data management, governance, quality processes to ensure functional master data integrity across ERPs systems. Collaboratively organizes and leads cross functional teams from business/IT to document and maintain multi domain global master data policies, processes, data standards, RACI matrix, metrics/KPIs, SLA’s, training documentation and procedures across organization.

This role reports to Chief Data Officer at Franke Group.

Your main responsibilities

• Drive implementation of master data management/governance in the specific domains
• Perform analyses and research to harmonize terms and definitions across systems for individual master data object – establish and maintain global data glossary
• Lead functional analysis to produce written documentation defining master data models and procedures related to Master Data Management (MDM) and Master Data Governance (MDG) processes
• Ensure documentation and master data management process controls are established and operating effectively to support data security/audit/compliance requirements
• Supports business requests to change configurations, use, or design of data elements for specific area of influence. Support testing and user acceptance of new functionality
• Coordinate the resolution of master data integrity gaps by working with the business and IT data matter experts
• Communicates, trains, and supports all data stakeholders, users, and contributors throughout the enterprise
• Analyses and identifies data sources, data redundancy, and implements processes to remediate master data issues and /or master data clean-up efforts
• Participates in the review of all system enhancements and new technologies for master data needs, use, and redundancies
• Analyses and classifies complex change request, identifies, and documents impacts, risk and proposes potential solution options

What you bring

• Master´s degree in Business Administration or Information Technology
• Broad international business experience and project execution / PMO Skills
• Demonstrated data literacy/change management experience - ability to influence others to modify behaviours and provide support for the adoption of mater data governance policies at various levels of the organization
• Ability to interact with leadership and with large and diverse teams (Business and IT)
• Manage escalations to the appropriate conclusion throughout the project/initiatives
• Communications skills in English, any further languages are an asset
• Consulting skills paired with technical skills, to convey the value of an MDM solution
• Solid presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand business terms to all levels of management
• Experience organizing and leading effective cross functional teams to inclusively develop enterprise documentation requirements for master data
• Conduct workshops to drive design decision with clear recommendations and leading/best practices
