The Global Education Cluster (GEC) seeks design and layout services. The GEC is working with partners to implement an ECHO funded Action to strengthen rapid education responses in emergencies. Key deliverables of this Action include several country case studies and reports as well as the development of visual assets (i.e. infographics, visual identity) to support visibility activities. As such, the GEC requires a graphic designer to provide design and layout services for this Action. Additionally, the GEC requires social media assets such as photo banners, infographics and other visual aids to support its advocacy priorities.

How can you make a difference?

Specifically, the GEC requires a graphic designer to support the development of a distinct visual identity (inclusive of a colour palette and style guide for the ECHO Action on strengthening rapid education responses in emergencies. Additionally, the graphic designer will be responsible for the development of infographics and visuals to be embedded in reports and used for communications and advocacy activities online for the ECHO funded Action. The graphic designer will also be responsible for the layout and design of various case studies, reports and toolkit produced resulting from the ECHO funded Action. The designer will also support the development of visual assets for GEC’s overall thematic advocacy priorities.

Contractual Modalities
  • Duration: the consultant is expected to work for 63 days between August 2021 and March 2022
  • Duty Station: The consultant will be home-based.
  • Payments: The consultant will be paid upon timely and satisfactory submission of deliverables.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
  • University degree in graphic design, art, animation, illustration, or related field.
  • Strong background (6+ years of work experience) in graphic design, including providing branding, layout, formatting, and infographic development services for multi-partner projects. 2 additional years of experience in lieu of a university degree accepted.
