Flex Suisse is the number one service provider to empower legal & compliance departments with flexible workforce, managed legal services and professional search in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. For our most recent mandate we are looking for an exceptional talent in the following field:

Industry | Trade Compliance Officer | Luzern | Temp. 12 months | 80-100% | August 2021 | CHF 140’000

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee internal and external compliance audits and senior compliance analysts
  • Monitor and report regulatory and compliance-related developments in covered markets
  • Identify and assess risk factors, specifically in regard to import and export controls
  • Establish compliance-related operating and measurement metrics
  • Cross-departmental legal support across the organization
  • Carry out internal checks on compliance-related aspects

Experience:

  • Resident in Switzerland
  • Fluency in German and English
  • At least 5-10 years’ of PQE working as a trade compliance officer
  • Demonstrated exposure to the aerospace, defense, or trade forwarding logistics sectors
  • Expertise in ITAR and relevant laws and regulations applicable to global trade compliance
  • Relevant qualification or certification in Trade compliance (CTCS, ITC, ITAR, CUSECO) a plus
