IT Product Owner – Software Selling / Fieldwire (m/f/x)

What’s the role?

As the IT Product Owner, you will be working on the strategic project ‘Evolution’ – one of the biggest IT projects in Hilti which aims to elevate CRM processes to the next level. You will focus on developing a vision for scalable software sales processes within Salesforce.com Sales Cloud and implement those together with your team. The role will especially focus on the post-merger integration of Fieldwire, our newly acquired start-up based in the Silicon Valley.

What does the role involve?

As an IT Product Owner, you will own the vision and future roadmap of global processes to sell software products supported by Salesforce.com Sales Cloud. You own every outcome, decision, and activity related to your product. You will provide thought leadership in analysing new business requirements, distilling them into actionable plans, crafting fit for purpose architecture designs and corresponding IT strategy & guidelines. You provide strategic advice for business processes and solutions and collaborate with Hilti business stakeholders to define and craft the requirements to integrate scalable software selling processes into our CRM solution. The integration of our newly acquired start-up, Fieldwire, into our existing CRM landscape will be your major project. This integration requires analytical skills, business understanding, and the ability to bring together requirements from Global IT and our fast-paced roadmap for software selling.

What you need is:

• Master or PhD in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or any related fields
• At least two years of experience as a Product Owner in a distributed Agile Software Development setting experience utilizing agile delivery processes and tool chain. We welcome any prior experience in software selling or integration of acquired ventures
• Experience in any Salesforce Clouds is an added advantage. Experience with CRM systems is required
• Experience of working within international teams across different time zones is advantageous
• Good understanding of system integration technologies and/or software development desired
• Experience in post-merger integration projects and/or software sales processes are added advantages
