In this role you will lead and manage Product Engineering & Tooling project stream, basically from the design engineering and tool making. The project manager role is responsible to lead and manage the project stream from beginning till successful first production of the new products within the assigned manufacturing plants.



This role reports to the Head of Operations based in Aarburg and requires regular business travelling.

Your key responsibilities



  • Management and completion of new products tool and first production on time, within budget and scope
  • Manage schedules, cost, and scope of the project. Keep project on track, including identifying countermeasures in case of deviations
  • Evaluate and analyse risks and issues compromising project results and develop plans to mitigate them together with the team
  • Identify and engage stakeholders, and ensure they are aligned and informed with project status and project changes
  • Act as main interface in between Franke Category Management and Product & Tool Engineering, Procurement within the given project perimeter
  • Manage multiple third-party tools manufactures and ensure contractual deliverables are respected
  • Prepare short and long-term resource allocation plans internally and externally
  • Conduct and prepare regular project status meeting and updates and provide hand on support to project team
  • Apply Franke Project Management standards and reporting
  • Manage others operations projects
What you bring



  • Minimum Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering field
  • +10 years’ experience in engineering and product engineering
  • Min. 5 years’ experience of project management within a multinational company
  • PMP certification preferred, or minimum similar project management degree required
  • Strong interpersonal skills such as problem solving, teamwork, communication
  • Hand on person who is taking ownership of tasks to support the project
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written), German is a strong plus
