As a Laboratory Assistant Research you will be working within the Perfumery Research laboratory of the Fragrance Division. You will prepare the tests of the new fragrance molecules using your skills and creativity. The major focus of the role is on compounding formula and product applications required for the olfactive assessment of the new research molecules. Another key aspect is the sample management and preparation required for all the other research testing performed with the new fragrance molecules. You will be part of a supportive, diverse and responsible team which is already curious to meet you.

This role is based inKemptthal (Switzerland).

You will:

  • Be in charge of the stock of perfumery and in-house prepared compounds
  • Preparation of fragrance mixtures
  • Incorporation of the raw fragrance ingredients in different applications for different internal evaluation stages
  • Set up and organize perfumery evaluation sessions
  • Report used quantities and evaluations in IT systems
  • Maintain multiple company database software and tools
  • Perform any combination of sample management tasks, including labeling, preparing for shipping, transporting to labs, inventorying and disposing

You have:

  • An education/apprenticeship as chemical laboratory technician
  • +2 years practical experiences in a laboratory environment following EHS guidelines
  • Experience in inventory and barcode systems is beneficial
  • Sample management experience in the specialty or pharmaceutical industry is a plus
  • The desire to work organized towards deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a team
  • The passion for details and high quality concern for the company products quality
  • Good Working knowledge in German and English
  • Proficient computer skill: MS Office and various web applications
