As a Laboratory Senior Technician Brain Health, you will perform experimental laboratory work and support the organization and management of the preclinical platform and labs to support business, projects, and concept development for the brain health department.

A day in the life of a Laboratory Senior Technician Brain Health
  • Perform in vitro cell culture, histology, molecular and cell biological technics (e.g., qPCR, WB, ICC, ELISA …)
  • Support scientists in the development and in-house implementation of in vitro assays
  • Optimize current assays when needed
  • Maintain detailed laboratory notebook documenting all experimental work
  • Actively participate in data analyses and report writing
  • Present data at group and department level
  • Maintain the general organization of the laboratories, monitoring stocks and managing orders for equipment and consumables

What Will Make You Successful
  • CFC in biology laboratory technician or equivalent diploma
  • Minimum 5 years of preclinical research experience in neuroscience
  • Experience in industry is desired
  • Strong experience in cell culture (primary neurons and astrocytes and cell lines)
  • Knowledge in microscopy and high content imaging
  • Dynamic, well organized and team worker
  • Fluent in English, French is a plus
