The European Technical Center in Meyrin is the main research, product development and customer support center in Europe. Engineers, chemists and technicians meet new technical challenges every day from research to operations in a constant drive for quality and efficiency.


We look for a Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) in material sciences and physics. This position, located in the European Technical Center in Meyrin, aims to reinforce the R&D testing laboratory, working in close collaboration with internal customers like engineers working in sales, marketing and research and development to provide support to external customers.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Perform analytical and physical testing of polymers

  • Adapt testing conditions or set up new tests

  • Plan and follow work requests

  • Analyze results obtained / Write reports

  • Responsible for equipment (set-up, maintenance, procedures, safety)

A successful candidate must have:

  • Good multi-discipline background, preferably a degree or Certificat Fédéral de Capacité(CFC) or Bac+2 in material sciences, physics

  • Experience in generating clear and concise technical reports on laboratory work

  • Computer literate in Excel, Word

  • Good interpersonal skills and team spirit

  • Independent and proactive with minimal supervision

  • Planning and organizing as well as flexibility should be part of your strengths

  • Ability to coordinate different workstreams going on in parallel, manage multiple priorities

  • Fluent in English and French is essential, German would be a plus
