We are now seeking to hire a highly motivated Laboratory Technician for physical analyses who shares our strong sense of purpose and wants to help us fulfill our highest consumer expectations.Tasks- You support internal and external customers with analytics in food & particle characterization analysis (Laser diffraction spectroscopy, Dynamic image analysis, shear stress analytics).
- You build-up expertise and analytical methods to answer technological questions around quality and performance of technical materials and food, with focus on bulk material properties.
- You leverage the external ecosystem for bulk material analysis.
- You support internal and external innovation projects.
- You guide and support bachelor students and interns working in the laboratory.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science Physics or Chemistry
- Basic training as lab technician with experience in particle analytics
- Competence in high-quality, accurate laboratory analytics
- Well-founded scientific background in physical material characterization techniques
- Experience in designing, executing and reporting scientific studies
- Good communication skills and customer-service attitude, incl. the ability to interface with people in- and outside of the company
- Fluent in English and proficient in German, proficiency of additional languages would be a plus
- Team player interested in working with different stakeholders across organization units and disciplines
- Experience in food or material processing and shear stress analytics
- Interest in process technology questions to be solved using laboratory analytics
