Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. is currently recruiting for a Lead Analyst – Product Data position within the Digital Transformation Office. This position is located in Skillman, NJ or Zug, Switzerland.

The Digital Transformation Office (DTO) is orchestrating our journey to become a Digital First organization by building and deploying end-to-end digital solutions that solve unmet needs and generate value through a fully integrated digital ecosystem.

To enable the delivery of cutting-edge digital solutions and new ways of working, the DTO is building foundational, reusable, and scalable data assets. The individual will execute the end-to-end data lifecycle including execution of data sourcing, harmonization, and curation for the Product Data Asset. This individual will be responsible for executing data management governance within the Product data domain and partnering with data management and operations teams to execute data standards and improve business processes in support of data quality.

This role will be responsible for collecting data requirements from stakeholders, communicating and monitoring compliance to those requirements. This role will coordinate with business process owners and subject matter experts to ensure that the proper business context and impact are considered in discussions regarding specific data elements.

The Lead Analyst – Product Data will apply advanced analytics, intelligent automation, data science, and other cutting-edge technology in Supply Chain (particularly in Product Life Cycle Management, Manufacturing & Quality domains) to continuously improve processes. Their efforts will result in greater value and efficiency in overall data management.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
  • Execute the Product Data Asset strategy to accelerate the Consumer Health Digital Transformation and drive financial and strategic business outcomes.
  • Collect data requirements from data consumers, capability owners, and digital product owners.
  • Communicate data requirements to data providers and monitor compliance to these requirements.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of data to drive business growth.
  • Review the existing data quality, identify gaps and recommend improvement measures to data providers.
  • Execute data management governance. Monitor data standards and business processes that support data quality.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering at a minimum. Specialization in data science, computer science, data engineering or advanced analytics fields is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of business experience with at least 1 year of Supply Chain, IT, or relevant functional experience required.
  • Must be well-versed in analyzing data, segmenting, rationalizing, defining, tracing lineage, developing controls, tracking issues, influencing ownership, as well as ensuring it is fit-for-purpose and ready for usage.
  • Experience with data modeling and data analysis techniques required.
  • Strong strategic mind, outstanding critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business and technical functions and process information quickly.
  • Outstanding SQL skills preferred.
  • Proficient in using Python to organize, understand, curate and analyze data to drive business decisions preferred.
  • Subject matter expertise in Supply Chain data (e.g., Material Master, Product Master), operational or transactional ERP data, IoT, M2M, IIOT, and other data required.
  • Must be comfortable with constructively challenging the status quo and looking for new ways to improve processes and results.
  • Experience executing data management and associated operational processes (e.g., Data Lifecycle Management, Data Quality standards) strongly preferred.
  • Experience with material / product management, PLM, other relevant processes / systems is preferred.
  • Experience working across Supply Chain domains (planning, procurement, manufacturing, delivery / logistics, quality, finance) is preferred.
  • Experience in reference data operational processes and data lifecycle activities is preferred.
  • Prior experience working within digital transformation and driving capability maturity across enterprises is preferred.
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Azure stack preferred.
  • Experience with acquisitions and divestitures is a plus.
