Job Summary

This position is responsible to enable faster and scalable implementations of Intelligent Automation (IA) and Data Science (DS) initiatives for MedTech SC PLAN. The person will be responsible to Analyze and Design solutions for prioritized IA & DS initiatives and translate Business requirements into functional requirements for development teams. Wherever relevant the person should be able to create a clear process map for the identified IA & DS use cases, understand the system interactions and the data required to support the implementation. The person is expected to have familiarity with the Digital Technology stack, Automation tools such as Alteryx, RPA and conceptual understanding of AI/Machine Learning, Optimization, Simulation etc. The person will also be required to lead DS & IA projects as needed.

This position will report to the MT Data Science & IA Sr Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Intelligent Automation & Data Science Lead Business analyst is responsible for:
  • Analyze and Design solution for prioritized DS and IA initiatives
  • Understand the Business requirements and translating them into Functional requirements
  • Assess and implement the Data needs to support the use cases
  • Be the liaison between business and development teams
  • Support business with testing of developed capabilities
  • Lead as necessary the implementation of prioritized Intelligent Automation, Data Science and process mining initiatives
  • Advance organizational Digital capabilities.
  • Keeping abreast with emerging digital concepts

Requirements

Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science or equivalent experience, master’s degree preferred.
  • Project Management Experience Preferred
  • Other certifications in areas of expertise such as Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Science or Intelligent automation desirable

Experience And Skills
  • Minimum of 4 years experience working in Business Intelligence / Analytics/ Intelligent Automation/Data Science or related field to drive business process improvement and Digital transformation
  • Experience in implementing Technology solutions preferably within Intelligent Automation and Data science space
  • Experience in implementation of ERP or Planning systems (either on business side or vendor side) is a strong advantage
  • Hands-on experience of ETL/Automation tools such as Alteryx, RPA, SQL or any programming languages strong plus
  • Experience in the Medical Device industry is a plus
  • Experience working with virtual teams and matrix organizations
  • Global experience (with multiple countries, regions) and associated cultural awareness required.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly, and tight deadlines exist
  • Understanding of external Supply Chain and Digital trends and emerging best practices
  • Understanding of Digital transformation and supporting technologies in other industries
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity
  • Positive and solution-oriented mindset

Preferred locations: Diegem, Belgium, Bridgewater, New Jersey, Zug, Switzerland;

Travel Requirements: 10-20 % international travel
