Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience leading and managing product teams.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience creating product roadmaps from conception to launch, driving product vision, defining go-to-market strategy, and leading design discussions.
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, and/or advertising technology.
  • Demonstrated success in building business-oriented workflows and interfaces.

Google Ads retail products send billions of clicks to retailers every year to help them generate billions of dollars in sales. Accelerated by the evolving consumer behavior from Covid-19 lockdowns and the new initiative to work more closely with SMB merchants, the retail vertical continues to be our fastest growing verticals and a significant part of Google total ads revenue.

As a Lead Product Manager, you will lead a team of Product Managers working with our cross-functional and cross-product team partners to deliver the next generation of Google products aimed at merchants in both retail and new emerging verticals and to drive the growth of new advertiser acquisition from Google merchants.

As a Product Manager at Google, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. The end goal will be to match you with the team that best aligns with your interests, experience, and where you will have the most impact.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive strategy of our next generation of ads products aimed at both large and SMB merchants..
  • Develop the upsell mechanisms and interfaces for helping merchants get more value from Google with ads.
  • Grow key relationships and drive deliverables alongside the Google Commerce and Business Partner teams.
  • Work closely with merchant vertical efforts to help grow our business in new areas.
  • Manage a team of Product Managers based in Zurich.
