Job Role: Lead Project Engineer Automation

Location: Uzwill

Salary: 90,000 - 95,000 CHF plus bonus & benefits



As a Lead Project Engineer Automation your remit will include:

  • The focus of your work lies in the management of demanding automation projects for the food and feed industry - from planning and implementation to commissioning at home and abroad
  • Together with the project team, you develop the automation concept and compare it with the customer
  • You are also responsible for the coordination of resources when creating the software for the system control and its quality. Occasional collaboration on the development of the PLC software is possible.
  • You enjoy coordinating international project teams and form both an internal interface between mechanics, automation and technology and an external interface to our customers
  • Furthermore, you are responsible for the acceptance, commissioning and handover of the system control to the customer and, if necessary, train the customer’s personnel
  • Of course, you have costs and deadlines under control
  • You will also support customer service and the quotation team with automation issues

What you will bring to the company:

  • Technical apprenticeship supplemented with studies at FH or HF level
  • In-depth knowledge of automation or electrical engineering, other combinations are possible
  • Good programming skills (Siemens S7, TIA Portal) and experienced handling of MS Office
  • Project management experience, preferably in an international environment
  • Respectful and open communication internally and towards customers
  • Independent, solution and goal-oriented as well as proactive way of working
  • good written and spoken English knowledge
  • Willingness to travel up to a maximum of 20%
