Johnson & Johnson Supply Chain Technology (SCT) is recruiting for a Learning and Development Leader, located in North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, or Africa, with remote work options considered on a case-by-case basis if approved by the Company.

This position will lead efforts to build a Learning & Development Organization while elevating skills, capabilities and processes around digital learning. This Leader will be an influential partner who thoughtfully facilitates between Enterprise, J&J Technology and Supply Chain Technology strategic training and talent priorities, driving alignment and high-impact learning and development initiatives. This role will also enable our talent agenda through talent rotations, talent talks, mentoring programs and DEI & Credo leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and promote a learning and development multi-year strategy as a routine way of life, embraced and valued by all. Counsel leadership for the highest impact, ensuring commitment and alignment throughout the enterprise.
  • Identify critical skills, capabilities & processes imperative to our organizational vision of digital leadership, then build, implement, and iterate on a yearly learning and development strategy and operational plan that is aligned with business goals & objectives.
  • Steer and advise the implementation of our learning and development strategy in 3 key areas:
  • Technical Skill proficiencies to optimize and efficiently support the transfer of learning to jobs, with focus on innovative, emerging technical needs such as Experience Design, Architecture, and Intelligent Automation.
  • Product Management Proficiencies to advance operating model adoption and advancement.
  • Business and personal skills such as communicating clearly, crafting strategy and understanding the business across the J&J enterprise.
  • Expand our talent development through rotational programs, talent talks, diverse recruitment strategies and mentoring programs.
  • Lead our Credo & DEI efforts to create a connected and engaged organization.
  • Passionate about benchmarking and enabling advancement in all training spheres of responsibility, at both a macro-level and by individual initiative.

Other Areas Of Responsibility
  • Partner and collaborate with subject matter specialists on content development and delivery to organization.
  • Create a SCT specific upskilling program for Managers & Professionals.
  • Handle budget and relationships with vendor partners to craft and build training modules.
  • Amplify the power of the Learning & Development site for use by the organization.
  • Promote and develop modern concepts and techniques in training, such as gamification to pull-through education initiatives, recognition and the like.
  • Craft messages and content that encourages, engages, and aligns our employees to our training goals and employee development priorities.

Education

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience required. Advanced degree preferred.

Required

Experience and Skills:
  • Demonstrated performer with a minimum 8 years of experience leading training and development in a company, commercial agency, NGO, or government agency.
  • Demonstrated experience crafting and operationalizing a learning & development strategy in a highly matrixed/sophisticated environment.
  • Proficiency in curriculum development and delivery, with outstanding written, oral, and visual communications skills.
  • Knowledge of learning platforms & experience delivering training in multiple learning modalities such as workshop, virtual, e-learning, simulation, gamification required.
  • Experience with DEI initiatives, talent management, or HR.
  • Experience influencing and leading those without direct reporting lines.
  • Proven track record to work in a matrixed global environment.
  • Strong, confident leadership presence and ability to interact with leadership.
  • Self-starter who excels in ambiguous situations and enjoys shaping strategy & processes.
  • Skills in Microsoft Forms, Microsoft Office and SharePoint microsites are a must.
  • Must have well-developed facilitation and presentation skills to all levels of an organization.
  • An ability to learn & bring your best self to work.

Preferred
  • Project management/team leadership experience is preferred.
  • Skills in Yammer and enterprise intranet sites are a plus.

For U.S. applicants, in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements, the anticipated base pay range for this position is $112,000 to $168,500. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
