Job Description

Due to the growth of the organization, they are looking for a Legal Counsel who will work

directly with their General Counsel in the head-office in Zug to advise on legal issues relating

to the Group and its governance. This may also include supporting the opening of new

offices, assisting with the development of new products and advising on regulations. You

will also act as the Corporate Secretary of the Group. It concerns a new role, to which you

can give your own interpretation and in which you can further develop yourself. You will

support the General Counsel and the board in all legal matters.

Your Activities Will Include
  • Ensuring the Group’s corporate governance is compliant with all regulations and up to date, including the corporate secretariat in Zug
  • Preparing, reviewing and negotiating corporate documentation and contracts and other legal documents;
  • Supporting the organization’s awareness and policies on industry-specific issues, corporate governance and regulatory affairs
  • Keeping the document management database up to date;
  • Tracking the developments of relevant laws and regulations;
  • Providing support and organizing meetings for the boards and preparing the relevant documentation.
The Successful Applicant
  • You are passionate and knowledgeable about Swiss and international corporate and financial legal matters.
  • You have a Master’s degree in law, preferably in Swiss corporate law.
  • You have 4 to 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a well-known law firm.
  • You are hands-on and a self-starter, and have the ability to identify issues and resolve problems.
  • You are flexible and open-minded
  • You are fluent in English, German is a big asset.
  • You have the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
