Provide legal advice and support to Ralph Lauren’s business throughout the EMEA region, focusing on general commercial and e-commerce / digital matters.
  • Draft, review and negotiate various commercial contracts (particularly relating to marketing, IT and vendors) as required by the business teams and various internal departments
  • Conduct research and provide analysis and advice on various regulatory matters (particularly anti-competition and distribution), as well as other general areas of law that are relevant to the business
  • Working with global team members (based in the US and Asia) on global projects and/or to ensure consistency and compliance with global corporate policies
  • Manage and liaise with external counsel
  • Undertake any ad hoc legal projects and assignments as required
  • Recognized law degree and admitted to practice in the UK, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Italy, France or other EU Member State
  • 3-5 years’ legal experience (prior private practice experience a plus)
  • Experience in general commercial legal matters required (experience with the legal aspects of e-commerce / digital / technology and IP desired)
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, plus fluency in at least one additional European language (preferably Italian, French or German)
  • Willingness to learn other practice areas and to become familiar with laws of other jurisdictions
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
