Your role

Do you have experience with legal and regulatory matters related to Global Family Offices (GFO) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients? We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • provide holistic legal coverage (advice, risk assessments, drafting of legal documentation) for the GFO and UHNW business, including in the context of sell-side and buy-side corporate finance, M&A and Private Equity mandates as well as cross-border offering/distribution, in close cooperation with other UBS locations and the Investment Bank (IB)
  • support the GFO and UHNW business agenda and projects by providing strategic guidance with respect to the applicable standards, regulatory rules and trends and support re tailoring client solutions and set-ups;
  • support on global coordination for multi-branch clients and cross-divisional coordination with the IB for dual-onboarded clients
  • support initiatives related to the GFO and UHNW business, including assessments of related new business initiatives and complex transactions

You’ll be working in the cross-functional, global team ‘Legal GFO & UHNW’. We provide global legal coverage to our client advisors and senior management with high-quality, tailor-made solutions. Our goal is to make sure our clients receive systematic, coherent and tailored services and therefore we work closely with our colleagues around the globe.

Your expertise

  • qualified lawyer, admitted to the Swiss Bar or experienced with Swiss legal matters
  • several years of practical experience in international banking or in an international law firm focusing on banking and corporate finance topics
  • interested in complex legal and regulatory issues (Swiss and international)
  • experience in Private Equity and (cross-border) offering/distribution
  • strong in written and verbal communication
  • comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-moving and varied legal environment, dealing with senior stakeholders, often on short timeframes
  • fluent in English (other languages are an asset)
