We have received an exclusive mandate for a specialised asset manager. Our client is an asset management boutique - that stands for high investment standards and has a competitive track record.

Aufgaben

You will be based in the French speaking part of Switzerland.

Within a professionally managed company, you will be responsible as Legal Officer for the implementation of legal provisions of various domiciles, asset classes, as well as distribution approvals of fund offerings.

In this varied role, you will be responsible for managing an effective legal programme.

You will also be in charge for contract management and drafting, including financial contracts and dealing with corporate law issues.

You will develop and review corporate policies and develop internal policies and procedures to monitor compliance with laws and regulations.

You will also manage the MLRO of this asset manager and conduct risk assessments to understand the various risk level, significance and scope.

You will review company procedures, practices and documents to identify potential weaknesses or risks.

It is also important to our client that you can attend and execute compliance issues.

Qualifikation

In order for us to successfully consider your application, you have obtained a degree in law or a similar qualification. You also have at least 7 years of professional experience in the legal & compliance area of asset management ideally with Real Estate or Alternative Investements. You possess a good knowledge of the regulatory framework in relation to the management and distribution of collective investment schemes.

You also have in-depth knowledge of alternative asset classes and the financial market in particular, as well as the legal provisions for the distribution of fund products (especially UCITS, AIFMD, MiFID).

You are a committed and flexible and possess a know how to work efficiently, independently and precisely. Fluency in French and German is necessary, English is a prerequisite.
