Lifecycle Supply Chain Manager

Position Overview

The Life Cycle Management (LCM) Supply Chain Manager for DePuy Synthes is responsible for organizational readiness through alignment with other key projects across Hospital Medical Device companies within J&J. This position leads the DePuy Synthes Supply Chain Interdependencies of major Life Cycle Change projects, managing all aspects of the rollout with other parts of the organization and will ensure alignment with business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organizational structures. This includes oversight and leadership of all organizational change management project team activities.

The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing project management strategies and plans that coordinates and prioritizes major life cycle change projects with other key priorities in flight.

The LCM Supply Chain Manager will act as a key interface between Product Life Cycle Management Regulatory, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, Quality, Planning and Operations

Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans to ensure life cycle change projects align with in flight programs across the Hospital Medical Device sector and manages resolution of potential organizational obstacles.
  • Work with execution teams of other key initiatives to ensure that changes are bundled or delayed reducing the potential for conflict using common project management software and terminology to develop a timeline of activity that can be socialized externally to the project.
  • Develop Change Governance Framework to manage project conflicts between projects including data requirements and prioritization mechanism for interdependencies.
  • Strengthen project approval mechanisms to include end to end cost of change and impact to in flight projects via pre-assessment through the development of processes and tools to visualize interdependent legs of projects.
  • Early regulatory assessment to identify congestion and determine appropriate supply strategy.
  • Develop relaunch plans with the key stakeholders and prepare for operational launch readiness.
  • Single Point of Contact for all LCM Project Scheduling and Governance Owner.
  • Know and follow laws and policies to apply the job and maintain the highest level of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all time.

Qualifications
  • University Bachelor degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or Logistics. MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 6-8 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing related function in the Medical Device, or other highly regulated industry experience required including global regulatory requirements knowledge.
  • Project and Change management experience required; PMP / PROSCI certification preferred.
  • Process Design (Lean / Design for Six Sigma); Process Mapping Skills are required.
  • Strong organizational mindset with the ability to work independently underpinned by a clear and collaborative approach to communication strategy.
  • Ability to turn fragmented and incomplete data into business options including data driven decision recommendation.
  • Data Structuring, Categorization for repeatable Analysis including Visualization.
  • Ability to drive E2E teams to a decision point with demonstrated attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Deals confidently with complexity & ambiguity in a changing environment and is resilient to resistance with strong influencing skills.
