For more information, please visit us at www.KVALITO.chLife Science Consultant: Applications ManagerLocation: Remote (100%)RoleAs a Genomics Application Services Manager, you will lead all incident and change processes for the Genomics applications in the platform as well as for core platform components.Responsibilities
  • Own and drive the full lifecycle post-release - covering incident ownership, resolution, problem management, maintenance, service enhancement, release management, RCA risk assessments, and providing technical support when needed
  • Coordinate across multiple disciplines (Customer Service/Support, Data Science, Technology teams, and Regulatory) and a complicated genomics workflow and application stack for problem resolution and closure of RCA
  • Leverage and develop relevant metrics, observability, monitoring, automation measures, tools, and methods to publish and monitor the performance of the application and platform
  • Drive continuous improvement activities in collaboration with peer groups
  • Ensure the changes and releases process are complying to the companywide procedures and MedTech requirements
  • Liaise with quality for process improvements
  • Drive for the maturity of processes in a growing company and team environment
  • Act as a focal point for communicating issues or updates related to changes, fixes, updates, and releases to internal stakeholders and customers as appropriate
Minimum Qualifications And ExperienceEducation
  • Bachelor’s degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline
Work Experience
  • 6 to 8 years of experience as an application manager
  • Last 3 years of experience should have been as an application manager with experience in ServiceNow (or other ticketing systems regards change management)
Hard Skills
  • Working knowledge of JIRA or similar platform
  • Product Management
  • need to be able to travel onsite from time to time
  • Prior experience in managing and supporting applications and platforms in Healthcare, Life sciences industries, and experience with operating and managing regulated systems in a cloud environment.
  • Prior experience in driving service management setup and improving the maturity of the processes preferably of a SaaS platform
  • Keeps informed of the latest technology advancements and approaches to application and platform observability, DevOps, and SRE.
  • Background and experience in the application of software in the field of Genomics, Bioinformatics, AI/ML preferred.
  • Background in software development with a passion for serving end users, can coordinate across multiple stakeholder groups, drive decisions, and effectively communicate & collaborate.
  • High influence skills and a self-starter / autonomous. Can dive deep into details and also take a high-level organizational process and enterprise view. Has led teams (internal, and external) in project and organizational settings.
