One of our client is in need of an Linux HW and SW Expert (IT) (m/w/x).For this reason, we are looking for a talented professional, who is willing to be a part of this project.As the position is in Switzerland (not EU) we are only able to work with people who have a European passport OR already a Swiss working permit.General InformationStart date: ASAPDuration: 12 monthsExtension: possibleWorkload: 80 - 100%Work location: ZugRemote: no fully remote, on-site work required but flexibleTravel: max. up to 5%YOUR TASKS
  • Development of in-house tools (Python, C/C++, Web-Technologies)
  • Assist Medical Instrument / Software Projects
  • Development and maintenance of in-house / open source tools
  • Linux/Hardware troubleshooting, debugging and root-cause analysis
YOUR PROFILE
  • Min. Bachelor degree in Software Engineering, Computer Sciences or equivalent
  • Min. 3-5 years of work experience as a Software and/or Hardware Engineer
  • Min. 3-5 years’ experience in development with C/C++, Python, Go, Web technologies, Shell Scripting
  • Proven experience (hands-on) with Linux systems (Debian/Ubuntu), GNU/Linux Enthusiast
  • Strong knowledge in Software building, testing, Debian packaging (debhelper)
  • Team player with a "can do" attitude, quick learner, enjoying problem solving, ability to work independently
  • English fluent spoken and written
