Travel: This position will require up to 20% domestic and international travel.
Location: Schaffhausen, Switzerland; Cork, Ireland; Leiden, Netherlands, Malvern, USA; Gurabo, Puerto Rico.
This role is open to applicants who wish to work part-time (80% of a working week), or job share, or who are returning to the workplace after a career break.

MAKE Asset Management (MAM) Organization
The MAM organization operates as one integrated team in the delivery of Engineering, Maintenance and Execution Systems activities. This occurs in a standard, coordinated and consistent manner in support of the current and future requirements of our Manufacturing & Technical Organization (MTO) and in conjunction with key partners, to create one integrated internal/external network.
Job Summary
At a time when the Large Molecule platform is growing at significant pace to supply an unprecedented number of exciting new biotherapeutic products and modalities (including vaccines, Cell & Gene Therapy, Oncology), we are expanding our team, looking for enthusiastic people to develop exciting, innovative and integrated solutions to address our complex business & technical challenges.
The LM platform currently comprises of Drug Substance API and Drug Product Fill/Finish manufacturing sites with both clinical & commercial capabilities in US: Malvern PA and Puerto Rico; in Europe: Leiden NL, Schaffhausen CH, Cork IRL; and in Asia: Incheon, South Korea. One of the biggest opportunities we have to support our manufacturing sites is to standardise our assets and processes, ensuring we provide a reliable suite of assets and a sustainable supply chain ecosystem to our business partners, which will ensure a reliable supply of medicines to our customers, patients and healthcare partners.
The MAM Standardisation Business Process Owner will be responsible for the development and governance of the MAM asset and business process standards.
The Responsibilities And The Impact YOU Will Have
- Governance of MAM Standardisation process, define roles and responsibilities, coordinate resourcing of and lead standardisation teams populated from across the LM MAM sites
- Define and deploy prioritisation criteria for assets and business processes to be standardised
- Define level of standardisation to be applied to MAM asset types
- Responsible to deliver standards for LM MAM organisation for the business processes, hardware, process control, reporting, validation and ownership of process equipment associated with the production of our products
- Partner with key MAM site SMEs to ensure site team inputs are built into the MAM LM Standardisation program and to ensure we work very effectively as One MAM LM Team
- Partner with MAM COE, Small Molecule Platform MAM, Engineering & Property Services, Technical Operations and other relevant global functions to ensure aligned approach on common standards
- Act as a Change Agent and trained facilitator as part of our MAM WAVE agile teams program
- Support assignments in other areas of the MAM organisation as needed

Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant pharmaceutical/biological manufacturing and related experience required.
- Highly developed expertise in one or more core areas, specifically, Equipment Standardisation, Systems Engineering, Equipment Design and Procurement.
- Experience in working in a global and multi-functional complex environment required
- Must have strong collaboration and influencing skills to partner effectively at all levels and across multiple groups
- Strong communication skills and organisational change skills
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Experience in Asset Management Business Processes and Asset Management Systems knowledge and practical application is required.
- Fluent English verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills is required.
- Driving operational excellence across the organization, with measurable, financial, quality and cycle time results.
- Leadership experience in management of stakeholders in a global/regional setting in associated business function is preferred.
- Creating a future vision and gaining support and alignment to that vision.
