About the job

This is a unique work-from-home opportunity working with international clients looking to purchase or refinance U.S. real estate. 100% of AM’s clients are real estate investors living all around the world. Our clients range from sophisticated real estate investors to individuals just starting out in real estate investing. AM clients require mortgages for investments as small as $200,000 condo in Florida to a $30m Penthouse in NYC. Our goal is to increase our global presence with loan officers who possess a drive to succeed and grow with us – Proactive and highly motivated individuals who will be passionate about helping people secure a loan for the long-term home of their dreams!

All leads are provided (appointments are set by the assistant loan officer assigned to you and the schedule goes straight to your calendar!), marketing materials and ongoing product training, work with a dynamic team, fantastic workplace culture, back-end support, a commission-based role with unlimited earning potential with our generous commission plan and the freedom to work your own hours regardless of where you live in the world!

About the role

Essential Duties

• Responsible for the overall customer interaction and interface with all parties involved on each individual loan that is originated from new mortgage loan application to closing ,including, but not limited to: prequalifying potential home buyers; Guide customers through the loan process, including negotiation, terms, and conditions and inform AM’s global clients about available for them and obtaining all necessary support documents along with the lock-in information; overseeing the loan status to all interested parties; and obtaining loan documentation after closing
• Protect America Mortgages / GMG’s image by maintaining the highest level of professionalism and keeping mortgage loan information confidential.
• Updates knowledge by keeping up to date with trends, changes and developments in the mortgage industry and maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations

Skills and Experience

• You are a creative thinker and problem solver, flexible and pragmatic; able to apply your skills to the unique challenges of a fast-paced but exciting environment
• Previous experience in finance, banking, or other related fields are preferred but not required
• Familiarity with financial and lending practices are a big plus
• Knowledge of financial software
• Exceptional time management, Decision-making, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to analyse data accurately and efficiently.
• Highly organized, and results-driven
• Strong work ethic, can work independently and without supervision when required
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Able to work collaboratively with assigned assistant loan officer and processing team
