The new role of the Operational Excellence Expert / Logistics Operations, will take the responsibility to improve and optimize the operational logistics processes. The function will also support and develop the operational direction of the future logistics functions at our site in Visp.

In the coming months, the next phases of the logistics project (BioLOG) will be launched. As part of this project, a new dedicated logistics infrastructure including the required logistics processes will be established. The required logistics processes have to be developed and implemented.

In addition to improve and optimize the logistics processes, this role will also act as a deputy function (Head of Logistics - Site Visp)

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements operational strategies according to the requirements of the Business Units
  • Drive implementations of operational Excellence roadmap, assessing progress and defining actions
  • Ensures compliance with quality, safety and environmental requirements
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of business processes and systems
  • Work with functional leaders to establish and achieve continuous improvement goals
  • Active development, design and implementation of continuous improvements
Key Requirements
  • Logistic Expert equal to Master
  • Significant logistics experience, ideally in a Pharmaceutical environment
  • Lean Practitioner, certified Green Belt/ Black Belt Certification is a plus
  • Strong Project Management skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented work approach
  • Excellent communication skills (English & German) and interaction with all kinds of internal and external interfaces
