Tasks

We offer an interesting job in a small team. In this position, you will be in charge of building up and integrating cost control into our department, enabling a smooth transition and hand-over period and managing the monthly billing of our mail.

Managing monthly issuance of invoices for Mail
Designing the centralisation of cost control activities in cooperation with other departments and Swiss WorldCargo stations worldwide
Coordinating with other departments to streamline processes and assure adherence to processes at different Swiss WorldCargo locations around the globe
Generating and providing reports
Reconciling payments and resolving discrepancies
Initiating changes in IT systems to optimize system support
Participating in meetings and actively driving the development of processes and projects
Collaborating with and supporting team members

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience / training with 5+ years of work experience
Flexibility to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
Ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external customers
Excellent command of written and spoken English and German
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Access and MS Word)
Knowledge of SAP an asset
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Structured and result-driven nature: bringing theory to practice
Good communication skills, able to stand up and defend point of view in discussions and meetings
Willing to travel occasionally
