Proclinical are recruiting a Maintenance and Facilities Manager for a medical technology and devices organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Nidau. The client is focused on producing manufactured goods for the eyes.

Responsibilities
  • Handle and contribute to the deterrent preservation, repair and calibration actions affiliated with the engineering and apparatus of ophthalmic medical products.
  • Guarantee compliance to the organisation’s safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Accountable for maintenance and facilities projects and their achievement in the prepared timetable and budget.
  • To adapt to the expansion of the organisation and impending manufacturing, you will evolve the team.
  • You will warrant compliance with QMS procedures for the maintenance and facilities division.
  • The ideal candidate will handle the maintenance and facilities team.
Skills & Requirements
  • Educated to a degree level in an engineering discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a comparable position ideally in a medical device or pharmaceutical establishment with at least 2 years in a team management role.
  • Fluency in the German and English languages with knowledge in French which would be desirable.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office, ERP, etc.
  • Social skills with the ability to guide a team.
  • An organised individual who is solution focused and able to efficaciously outline and set priorities.
  • Able to suggest and execute advancing projects.
