Background:

For our client, a global Medical Device Company, we are looking for a communicative and team-oriented maintenance personality for the TechSupport area. In this exciting position you will be responsible for the maintenance as well as the 2nd level support of test systems of the instrument manufacturing and you are willing to actively participate in interesting development projects for future test systems.

This ia a 12 month contract (with extension possibility) in Zug, Switzerland

General information:

• Place of work: Zug
• Remote/Home Office: On site work, occasional home office possible

Main tasks:

• Repairing test systems in case of system failure and ensuring that they are functioning properly again.
• Repair / replacement of equipment or software on the test systems
• Adjustment and parameterisation of measurement equipment
• Repair of replaced assemblies on the test systems
• Checking the functionality of the systems
• Training of 1st level supporters in the lines on the test systems
• Assistance with the requalification of repaired systems
• Preparation of proofs in case of repair and modification of the test systems
• Assuming dispatcher tasks
• Ensuring and complying with regulatory requirements
• Support and assistance in the area of preventive maintenance
• Processing support cases in the ticketing system incl. corresponding documentation (Wiki)
• Procurement, storage and management of spare parts for test systems
• Periodic reporting of personal and ongoing activities

Secondary tasks and area of responsibility:

• Support with questions and problems in production
• Assistance in the creation of requirements for new test systems
• Support in the areas of predictive maintenance
• Participation in interesting future projects such as augmented reality, etc.

Must Haves:

• HF/FH and/or at least 5 years of professional experience in the areas of measurement and test engineering, electrical engineering and computer science
• At least 5 years of experience in the maintenance of technical systems or as a service technician
• Experience in the IT field of hardware, software, configurations
• Very good written and spoken German
• Written and spoken English (B2)
• Willingness to maintain failed systems on off-hours
