Management Reporting Expert

In this role, you will run the group management and financial reporting environment, own the management and financial reporting data model, take application ownership for relevant reporting, AI, predictive and NLG tools, integrate relevant data into financial reporting data model and provide the organisation with state of the art management and financial reports.

Your tasks

  • Maintain the reporting (inventory and documentation) and KPI catalogue
  • Own the finance management reporting tools, the management reporting calendars and the management reporting RACI
  • Own the implementation roadmap, lead steering meetings involving the VP Group Financial Controlling & GBS and Director Management Reporting and own, coordinate and execute reporting coordination meetings
  • Understand and implement leading edge technology and drive adoption of state of the art management reporting tools
  • Maintain and distribute standard reports and ensure reports are up to date and available at all times
  • Drive the creation and automation of reports in finance management reporting tools
  • Source reporting requirements and lead documentation, lead implementation of new reports into the reporting toolset, and perform and coordinate testing, sign-off and release of new reports
  • Maintain a cross-business management reporting community through management reporting marketing, i.e. newsletters, OneSonova page, success stories, teasers, etc.

Your profile

  • University degree in accounting/finance, data science, or IT with a strong understanding of statistical techniques and their application to business problems
  • 7+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis and/or management reporting
  • Highly developed analytical skills with an excellent understanding of data and strong management reporting and dashboarding skills
  • Innovative, open-minded and analytical mindset with a strong interest in data mining and visualization
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate requirements and/or problems into actionable items
  • Ability to lead project teams, steering committees, and brainstorming sessions as well as the ability to maintain strong relationships with relevant senior financial partners across multidisciplinary teams
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken
  • Proficient in management reporting tools with an understanding of accounting/ERP systems – experience with SAP BW and SAP Analytics Cloud as a strong advantage
