Your ‘day to day’

For our Advanced Procurement team in Switzerland, we are therefore looking for a Manager Advanced Procurement.

In this position you will
  • Drive Contract Manufacturing Outsourcing (CMO) Components strategy incl. supplier selection, contract negotiations, allocations and pricing.
  • Ensure alignment and governance of CMO Components category with business stakeholders (e.g. Supply Chain, Product Development, Finance, Quality).
  • Build and maintain strong contractual frameworks
  • Establish and lead the Supplier Relation Management (SRM)
  • Collaborate with Product function in terms of Innovation and product development to drive supply base evolution, supply security and sustainable sourcing with "right cost at launch".
  • Implement Supplier Enabled Innovation process
  • Ensure Procurement Stage Gate deliverables are complete in full, on time and with quality
  • Drive the component cost roadmap through visibility over the life cycle of the product
We’re looking for someone with
  • Proven experience within a Procurement role
  • Deep experience in (consumer) electronics industry, strong procurement skills and good discernment
  • Effective experience in “design to manufacturing” and “design to cost” methodologies in a global sourcing context
  • Being exposed to new technology introduction in company where new product launch is a key business factor
  • Successful international experience
  • Solid engineering, automation and manufacturing understandings
  • Proficiency in English; At least another European language is a plus
  • Strong leadership skills and team player attitude
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Creativity and open mindset to try and test innovative solutions
  • Capacity to deal with ambiguity, complexity and uncertainty
  • Ability to work under pressure, calm and resilient with a self-driving attitude
