POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary role of this position is management of the North EU and CEE field service dispatch coordinator team. The Manager, Central Dispatch North EU & CEE is responsible for hiring, training, directing and evaluating Dispatch Coordinators in the efficient and timely execution of Service commitments to Hach customers, and ensuring accuracy with service inventory and transactions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Development and management of departmental budget and KPI targets.
  • Work with Senior Manager, Central Dispatch and Supply Chain EU to develop and deliver to strategic goals.
  • Ability to support and act as backup for Sr. Manager.
  • Manage dispatch staff by establishing and delivering to annual goals, hiring and training new associates, coaching and mentoring, and monitoring/appraising individual performance.
  • Leadership of all aspects of the Performance for Growth (P4G), and Development for Growth (D4G) process.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally and with Field Service Managers to resolve escalations, drive improvements, and deliver on assigned initiatives
  • Organizational level Problem Solving leadership for KPI and/or PD level misses
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Provide direction and delegation authority to assigned Service staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prefer a BA or BS degree in Business, Chemistry, Biology, Electronics or Environmental Science or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Prefer 1 year experience in management or a leadership role
  • AS400 and ServiceMax knowledge a plus
  • Demonstrated customer service experience
  • Strong MS Excel skills with ability to analyze relevant data for problem solving and decision making
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
