Job Summary

Further develop and drive the Global Commercial Function, ultimately enabling regions to achieve more. This will be enabled by:

  • Develop and drive the Commercial Governance, Commercial Directives and the Approval Framework, including the CSC-Process.
  • Manage and Monitor Commercial Compliance.
  • Manage Commercial Projects and actively drive Commercial Development to increase Commercial Excellence (Standardization and Optimization across regions and between departments).
  • Manage Swissport’s Global CRM system (Salesforce) as Application Owner.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsibility over the Commercial Governance and Approval Framework
    • Manage and continuously develop documentation and act as subject matter expert towards the organization.
    • Monitor and support compliance with Group- and Commercial Directives, as well as with industry requirements or market regulations by acting as direct interface from Global Commercial to regions and to Group Legal (e.g. GDPR, PCI-DSS, ISO).
  • Act as Application Owner of Swissport’s Global CRM System (Salesforce)
    • Ensure availability of the system and alignment to business requirements, manage licenses, subscription and contracts with service provider.
    • Define governance, ensure availability of business related knowledge and documentation.
    • Manage maintenance, optimization and enhancement of the system and conducting strategic planning for the application from business point of view.
    • Overall responsibility for system administration and provide guidance and subject matter expertise to system-admin team and regional key users.
  • Project Work and Commercial Development
    • Identify and actively drive opportunities to further improve any commercial related matter, to achieve higher levels of commercial excellence.
    • Manage various projects initiated by or assigned / related to the Global Commercial department.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • University degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 5 years proven experience in a similar function and/or industry.
  • Strong and broad knowledge in IT and in Application Owner duties.
  • Profound expertise of Salesforce Sales / Service Cloud and Salesforce Platform. Certifications are a plus.
  • Experience in B2B environment, experience within the aviation industry is considered a plus.
  • Skilled in project management, including agile project delivery practices.
  • Experience in working with senior level stakeholders and effectively build and manage relationships with other departments.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, including ability to present to and working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders (executives, finance, legal or technically oriented stakeholders).
  • Strong command of English as the corporate language (written and oral), any other language is a plus.
  • Structured, organized and strong analytical skills with high attention to details and proven ability to work in an analytically and problem-solving environment.
  • Positive attitude and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment, capable of working in a team or independently.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate and get the best out of people across an organisation.
