Your ‘day to day

As a Manger Scientific & Medical Affairs, you will be responsible to globally accelerate the awareness and understanding of tobacco harm reduction and the science behind PMI’s smoke-free products.

More specifically, you will
  • Co-develop an integrated evidence plan and study designs for PMI’s smoke-free products in close collaboration with Clinical development functions, ensuring cross-functional collaborations with Product, Life Sciences, Regulatory, External Affairs, and Legal.
  • Provide medical scientific input into phase IV study designs, evaluate and create protocols and contribute to the management of the IIS Program
  • Build strong partnerships with KOLs and HCPs, medical and scientific societies, and others externally to support tobacco harm reduction initiative and smoke free products.
  • Provide scientific & medical education on PMI’s smoke-free products to various audiences within and outside PMI
  • Serve as the overall scientific and medical specialist on tobacco harm reduction and smoke free products
  • Support the creation and review of educational materials.
Who we’re looking for
  • Enthusiastic about driving the change and transforming public health on global level
  • MD or PhD in Life Sciences
  • Substantial Pharma/Biotech experience in scientific & medical affairs, including expertise in protocol writing
  • Experience in phase IV study designs
  • Ability to convey complex scientific data in an effective manner
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant regulatory and clinical guidance and standards
  • Effective communicator to Senior Management, KOLs, professional health organizations, and media
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
