Our Supply Chain Procurement (SCP) Strategic programs are addressing the entire direct material spend across all Medical Device franchises, i.e., a total of 3 billion $ spend. Our overall objective is to drive through these programs comprehensive benefit in terms of supply reliability, external innovation, and cost of external supply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with team members, leaders & sponsors to develop detailed project plans, including but not limited to data management, supplier & stakeholders’ engagement, negotiation strategies, e-Sourcing platform setup & utilization, award decisions / deployments and the hand-over of execution projects to programs embedded in the businesses
  • Coordinate progress amongst the teams, execution of the project plans, prioritize sub-projects and work with our global Categories, Business Engagement teams and Sponsors to optimize resources.
  • Conduct governance associated with the different program workstreams, achieving consistent adherence to timelines & agreed results
  • Ensure consistent progress reporting tailored to diverse audiences
  • Enable x-functional teams to apply key strategic sourcing standard methodologies such as contracting, category and business engagement excellence as well as MEP activities, including for example bidding environment setup, analytics workshops, supplier days and partner reporting
  • Promptly call out challenges (tactical and organizational) and roadblocks through the appropriate channels; including resolution recommendation and drive / enable execution thereafter
  • Be an e-sourcing platform subject matter expert & change agent

Education

Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of related experience

Required

Experience and Skills:
  • Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management or Business Engagement
  • Project management & execution (proven experience + appropriate qualifications if any)
  • Experience in conducting global bidding events and advanced knowledge using e-sourcing platform tools
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skill with ability to expertly analyse, consolidate and present sophisticated information
  • Proactive mentality; can do attitude

Preferred
  • Record of strong collaboration, engagement and team-work capabilities in a multi-stakeholder environment
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong business insight, Medical Device business background or experience form working in other regulated businesses required
