Let’s Talk about the Role
As part of the Supply Chain Centre of Excellence (COE) EMEA Team the Manager SC Business Processes contributes to achieve the VF “Consumer-Minded, Retail-Centric and Hyper-Digital” business model transformation.
Promote, lead and support Supp ly Chain initiatives aiming to improve service, reduce costs, reduce time-to-market and standardize operational processes. This role is critical to improve E2E processes, ensure governance and enable new capabilities. The Manager SC Business Processes develops key partnerships with Customer Service COE, Brand Sales Operations, Operations, Digital Technology, Logistics and Distribution Centers functions, Business Intelligence and Central Finance. Manage cross functional cross-brand meeting, encourage best practice sharing and adoption, drive knowledge sharing initiatives.
How You Will Make a Difference
Partner cross functionally to define and implement efficiency gain initiatives in line with VF strategy
Focus on process governance establishing rules and guidelines, implementing procedures and checking adoption
Promote best practices and harmonization across brands and regions
Identify system and process optimization opportunities in the spirit of continuous improvement
Champion changes in support of VF Digital Transformation journey
Manage recurrent cross functional meetings to convey Supply Chain hot topics, discuss business needs and system stability, ensure structure and plan high quality content in line with VF strategy and target audience
Develop a network across brand functions and central functions and promote communication and collaboration
Identify knowledge gaps and training needs, design trainings’ format and material and deliver trainings on complex topics to the Business Community on regular basis
Lead assigned projects by collecting and validating business requirements and making clear plans on what, when and how the project goals must be achieved. Motivate project team members, monitor progress, and keep all key stakeholders well informed
Skills for Success
Education: University Degree
Experience: 5 to 10 years’ experience in Supply Chain with a multinational company
Language skills: Excellent English language – both written and verbal
Good knowledge of Supply Chain processes, systems and market trends
Strong communication, presentation and writing skills
Self-motivation and ability to identify opportunities to improve service
Ability to manage direct reports effectively, with robust feedback skills
Strong Team Player
Problem Solver
Sound business judgement and strong analytical skills
Project Management techniques including planning, resource allocation, prioritization, evaluation and collaboration
Exceptional interpersonal, influencing and conflict management skills
Ability to work in a complex corporation with high independency
Ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously, manage tight deadlines and flexible to change priorities based on unpredictable events while balancing the team workload.
