We would like to talk to you about the opportunity to join our International Finance team as our Manufacturing and Products Controlling Manager. In this role, you will contribute to the overall Finance function by providing in depth financial analysis of watches, accessories (leather goods, objects, eyewear) and client services activities. Your role will consist in both challenging manufacturing, marketing and supply chain performance to ensure alignment to Cartier’s strategy as well as support them in realizing their financial objectives. You will also be in charge of the consolidated margin construction across the Maison and work in pairs with the Manufacturing and products controller for jewelry to drive improvements on processes and tools for this topic. You’ll be integrated in several transversal projects.


HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?


Controlling of Watches, Accessories (leather goods, objects, eyewear) and Client services activities

Monthly reportings:

  • Monthly monitoring of the financial performance of the watches, accessories and customer services activities
  • Monthly analysis of consolidated margin evolution, including margin by market, network and product segments

Budgets and reforecasts:

  • Elaborate the construction of the Maison consolidated margin including margin by market, network and product segments
  • Review budget and monthly forecasting for the manufactures
  • Coordinate with RCS finance team and Cartier’s clients marketing team, the client services budget process for Cartier
  • Prepare and present coefficients by products

Activity follow-up and business partner missions:

  • Effective liaison with the Manufacturing CFO’s, marketing, supply chain and RCS departments. Monthly participation to the Comité Opération meetings with all departments.
  • Elaborate the financial part of the strategic plans
  • Review and validation of manufacturing investment requests
  • Close collaboration with marketing and supply chain teams for the daily follow-up of their initiatives (price increase/decrease, coefficient of new products, supply chain analysis on stock rotation …)

Transversal topics and projects

  • Work in pairs with the Manufacturing and products controlling manager for watches to drive improvements on processes and tools for consolidated margin topic
  • Support various cross-functional projects, working with business partners to design/execute business solutions to complex issues (ex: SAP R3 => S4 migration)
  • Contribute to finance dedicated projects like:
    • GRIP(s): Richemont finance project that aims to design a new and comprehensive Financial Planning process and find the new software to underpin this process; especially on the consolidated margin and manufacturing topics
    • Power BI implementation for margin dashboard and analysis

Other responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate the internal control culture and environment in the Maison
  • Actively support the implementation of and compliance with all relevant Company Policies & Procedures and IAS Standards

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • You have a Master’s Degree in Finance with at least 7 to 10 years’ experience in audit or/and manufacturing controlling
  • You possess outstanding written and oral communication skills to help develop a close relationship with the Manufactuting CFOs, industrial management teams, Marketing Directors and HJ management to better understand business drivers through regular meetings
  • You are pro-active in bringing ideas and anticipate internal and external business issues that may impact organizational results
  • You have strong analytical skills, with the ability to put it into context of financial reporting needs
  • You possess a solid understanding of Management Accounting in the context of IFRS
  • You have business sense and synthesis skills in particularly in complex business situations and environments
  • Digital Savvy - The knowledge of tools like SAP, Power BI, Anaplan… would be a plus
  • You are team player with highest integrity and committed to the business
  • You are fluent in French and English
  • You are able to travel to Paris or La Chaux-de-Fonds once or twice a month for a few days
