Location: Boudry, Switzerlandpreferred. Other Swiss Romandie Locations can be considered

Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize, design and develop business aligned solutions on the MES platform
  • Extend design / technical support to the existing or newly developed MES solution
  • Explore opportunities for integration and automation
  • Collaborate with the client architecture and functional teams for conceptualizing / improving / upgrading the platform
  • Work with the wider Cognizant teams onsite and offshore, the Cognizant practices and CoE’s to establish and implement best-practices and guidelines
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to the support and build teams
  • Provide guidance to the team to adhere to the Client mandated quality and compliance policies
  • Collaborate with the product vendor for issues with the platform and provide inputs for enrichment / improvements
  • Contribute to tool / technology evaluations and provide recommendations
  • Work with Client architecture and functional teams to define platform strategy and roadmaps
  • Assist in assessment of existing and new suppliers for the platform
  • Keep oneself updated and acquire skills on other market leading solutions & products
  • Acquire skills on other downstream / upstream integrating platforms and solutions (Automation, ERP, Historian, Cloud Data Platforms, etc.)
Skills And Experience
  • Solid experience in working in a similar capacity on any MES system and platform (Rockwell, Siemens, Syncade)
  • Hands-on experience on the said platform covering the MES value chain and business processes
  • Know-how and preferable hands-on experience on Recipe writing
  • Experience integrating the MES platforms to Automation, ERP, etc.
  • Experience on multiple MES platforms is much desired
  • Solid understanding of the manufacturing systems landscape
  • English is a must.
  • French will be a solid plus. Alternatively German
