The job:As our new Market Intelligence Analyst, you will be a key member of our Fisher Clinical Services, Comparator Business Development organisation, who are primarily accountable for strategizing comparator sourcing solutions to provide an outstanding customer experience. Within our Market Intelligence team we are collecting, validating, analyzing & sharing drug market & comparator product specific data in the appropriate format, handling all related requests received at the Fisher Clinical Services Comparator level.You will ensure that valuable drug market & product data (pricing, volume, lead-time, expiry, bio similar/generic alternatives and changing market dynamics) are made available to our clients to enable them to make sound business decisions in their sourcing strategy. You will be delivering scientific expertise on drugs & comparators by studying relevant regulations (EMA, FDA; WHO, CDC…), scientific publications, competitors’ products (including generics/bio similar) to support internal customers in their decisions making.This role will be fully remote (work from home), based anywhere in Switzerland. Alternatively, you can choose to be office-based or hybrid, working from our Allchwil office in Basel.What will you do?
  • Leverage newsfeed such and industry relevant white papers to collect relevant market information to provide impactful information on emerging clinical and scientific trends
  • Generate in-depth drug market intelligence reports for premium clients with comprehensive analysis on sourcing solutions globally and market assessment reports for non-standard or high complexity requests for information
  • Generate scientific fact sheets about several therapeutical areas (including oncology, immunology, vaccines…) and act as a scientific mentor for internal collaborators’ education
  • Analyse product portfolio and clinical pipeline to support identification of novel targets for strategic sourcing partnerships
  • Maintain the internal database updated with scientific trainings and fact sheets
  • Foster clear communication with the Comparator team
Who we are looking for:
  • A degree in science, biology, biochemistry, pharmacy or similar
  • Ideally, some experience working within pharma, biotech or clinical industries
  • A good understanding of clinical trials and other pharmaceutical business services is a plus
  • A collaborative working style; able to build positive relationships with business intelligence service providers and to influence all level partners
  • Ability to speak, listen and write in a clear, concise, detailed and timely manner using effective communication tools and techniques
  • Team-player and open-minded, with international orientation
  • English fluency in writing & speaking
