Marketing Activation Specialist - F&B and Transportation

Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing Activation, the Marketing Activation Specialist will be contributing to business objectives through the understanding of key segments insights and their transformation into specific programs and campaigns based on a specific customer journey in ABB Electrification business.

Your responsibilities

  • Strategy:
  • Responsible to support the definition of customer insights, needs and value propositions for specific segments and translate them into customized buyers journey mapping and marketing tactics for their F&B and Transportation segments.
  • Design of integrated programs and campaigns. Ensures alignment between, marketing, product marketing, communications, and demand generation at the Global, division and local level.
  • Development of marketing plan for specific segments in conjunction with segment marketing or solutions marketing
  • Programs/campaigns plan:
  • Responsible for developing, implementing, measuring, and improving programs/campaigns to support sales growth initiatives
  • Ensures the development of cross divisional/functional marketing initiatives.
  • Marketing Tactics:
  • Develops a platform of global marketing tactics, tools, and a content
  • Promotional activities:
  • Develops global promotional activities using online campaigns, webinars, virtual events, events, fairs, print media, and other communications vehicles to promote solutions, products, systems, and services through the whole life cycle.
  • Message Alignment:
  • Ensures alignment of key themes messages and value propositions across multiple functions in ABB Electrification.
  • External Resources:
  • Research, identifies, and selects external marketing agencies to develop marketing assets, tools, touchpoints.
  • Defines quality and delivery targets for externally assigned activities, monitors ongoing progress, and resolves issues.

Your background

  • More than 10 years of experience in marketing, both Strategic and Tactical Marketing
  • Experience developing campaigns using marketing technologies
  • Experience in similar industries and product portfolio a plus
  • Experience in any of these segments, Food and Beverage or transportation (Rail) a plus
