The main areas of work will be linked to current and future development programs of a product portfolio and to the technical/commercial support of the sales organization.More specifically, the activities will include:Marketing role:
  • Prepare market studies/business cases requested by the regional marketing team or by the commercial team for current and new products in the portfolio
  • Develop marketing communication plan and help our distributors execute this plan
  • Support customers in the realization of their marketing actions: seminars, farmers’ meetings, demonstration tests, customer trips
  • Support the customers in the creation of their own marketing communication media: technical bulletins, brochures, flyers, billboards, magazine advertising, gift gadgets
  • Provide our customers with technical support when needed
  • Organize training for customers’ teams on our products (with internal support)
  • Help in the selection of distributors for a product and in the preparation of launch plans
  • Market intelligence: Prepare and keep a database of market information and competitors
  • Oversee and manage the marketing budget
  • Manage and develop the current portfolio by interacting with sales force and main external stakeholders
  • Relate to R&D and Regulatory departments to develop products already for sale and assets under development
  • Receive strategic guidance from Regional Marketing team to establish an adapted pricing policy and distribution strategy
  • Drive Branding strategy with the regions with respect to global versus regional branding
  • Coordinate future development work for new products, including biologicals and pheromones, through internal cross functional and 3rd party collaborations
  • Rally IP and Regulatory strategies
Development roleDevelopment and experimentation
  • Develop annual testing program (POC trials, pre-launch demo tests, demo tests for existing products)
  • Provide customers or subcontractors with test protocols and product samples
  • Monitor field trials with customers and subcontractors and communicate internally about trials results
  • Oversee and manage the development budget
About YouBelow are characteristics that we would like to see in our future employee
  • Degree in Agriculture or at least 5 years of experience in Marketing / Development of Agrochemicals in AFRICA
  • Proven technical knowledge in the specific field and strong interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent communicator and proactive team player
  • Fluent in English. French will be an asset for North & West African countries
  • Strong aptitude for team working
  • Ability to travel into various regions of Africa
