You will be responsible for providing support in implementing, overseeing and managing the digital marketing communication strategy, with the ultimate goal of reaching and attracting our target audiences through online channels and nurturing and converting site traffic into new lead opportunities for Corporate Solutions, the commercial insurance arm of the Swiss Re Group.

You will work closely with members of the communications, sales and business teams to provide support for the planning, designing and launching of key digital campaigns. You will also help enable delivery of successful and impactful global campaigns through effective messaging and data-driven insights.

You will work closely with the marcoms lead to support the implementation of successful projects and activities all aimed at creating an outstanding customer experience across multiple channels and which support business goals and growth ambitions. Please, bare in mind that the position is Temporary employment (Maternity Cover) 12 months contract.


About the role



In this role you will:
  • Develop and manage a content editorial calendar that attracts targeted audiences to our owned assets, including articles, brochures, blogs, ebooks, webinars, infographics, videos and more.
  • Optimise conversation rates through digital channels with effective calls-to-action, landing pages, and ’premium’ lead generation content.
  • Enhance and evolve our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with the Customer and Distribution Management team and consistent dashboards and reports to understand how our digital activities perform and continually refine our process to drive impact and generate demand.
  • Responsible for ensuring the website is easily found by our target audience – improving SEO and use of paid online adverting (SEM) as well as enhancing the website UX.
  • Writing various types of content on a wide range of insurance and risk related topics. This will include creating content for SEO, social media, blogs, websites, email, video and more.
  • Build and manage the Business Unit’s social media profiles and presence to grow followers and increase engagement.
  • Grow our subscription base and email list organically.
  • Manage all paid media campaigns with the branding team and agency support.
  • Support the team lead in the ongoing marketing campaigns development and implementation, including defining the optimal customer journey and touchpoints. This will include helping to run a global marcoms campaign.
  • Support the marcoms efforts in the Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA) region to help drive brand preference and protect our brand reputation. This will include involvement in PR/media and organizing and attending conferences, tradeshows and customer events
  • Working with colleagues in the team, you will help to continuously evolve and strengthen our marcoms efforts by effectively collecting and using data to steer content and channels.

About You


You have:
  • A BA, preferably in corporate communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or similar field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field of B2B marketing, commercial insurance background preferred
  • High affinity for digital marketing and technology, experience with social media, content management and email marketing systems
  • Proven track record designing and executing digital marketing communications strategies and campaigns
  • Experience of working in complex matrix organizations
  • Strong strategic, analytical and conceptual capabilities
  • Outstanding storytelling and writing skills
  • Strong influencing/negotiation abilities
You are:
  • Confident in consulting senior management and at ease to liaise at all hierarchical levels
  • Proficient in current and emerging tech platforms and martech/ automation tools
  • Well-versed in data analytics
  • Experience in Account Based Marketing would be preferred
  • Very organized with outstanding communication and time management skills
