We are looking for a seasoned Integrated Marketing Communications specialist to join the Swiss Central Marketing Organization in the Industry Integrated Marketing Manager role.

The Industry Integrated Marketing Manager (IMM) role owns and executes the Integrated Marketing Plan aligned to sales and marketing plays and driving new lead generation, nurture and consumption as prioritized by industry sales in alignment with Area Industry Go-To-Market Plan. The IMM leads local integrated marketing planning discussions bringing audience and competitive insights and marketing data to inform marketing plans and prioritize local execution and investments according to local and area’s business priorities.
You deliver local campaign execution excellence and are part of a complex vteam of local stakeholders: sales teams, Subsidiary Business Group Leads, Product Marketing Managers (PMMs), Partner Marketing Advisors (PMAs) and Communication/PR. You partner with Area Event & Digital team and Data Insight Lead to align local executions and ensure all activities are set up properly in our tools and systems to enable tracking, reporting and local optimization. As a data-driven marketer, you leverage marketing insights dashboards daily to surface opportunities, drive marketing planning decisions and lead the conversations with connected sales and marketing. The role requires an understanding of the sales organization’s priorities, Industry Prioritized Scenarios and Customer Usage Cases.

As part of the CMO team, the Integrated Marketing Manager embraces the company’s Marketing principles, maximizes local marketing spend and driving marketing efficiency, marketing impact, and scale, and is a local Microsoft brand steward.

You champion how we successfully engage the Industry Business Decision Maker (BDM) audience at scale through Industry relevant narratives and marketing programs designed to support prioritized verticals in your Subsidiary. As an Industry go-to-market expert, you ensure marketing execution is optimized to achieve local business goals and inspire our customers to significantly advance in their Digital Transformation journey.

Responsibilities

Deliver marketing impact against key business goal by acquiring and nurturing leads and supporting consumption
  • Develop and execute the integrated industry marketing plan on industry sales priorities.
  • Understand the target audience, market, and competitive landscape to deliver differentiated programs by scenario.
  • Use and localize global and regional programs, positioning, messaging, and content.
  • Continually optimize performance across the marketing mix and deliver insights and opportunities to Sales.


Orchestrate marketing execution in a complexvteamof stakeholders
  • Partner closely with Area HQs to land execution
  • Work with One Commercial Partner organization to align marketing activities and incorporate relevant partner solutions into the Industry Plans.
  • Ongoing engagement with Sales to create and surface opportunities and support Sales objectives for your Solution Area.
Executional Excellence and alignment to global processes and compliance
  • Align local marketing activities to modern marketing platforms and processes. Ensure localization reviews are complete and accurate. Leverage global leading practices.
  • Ensure relevant marketing executions are properly set up in systems and tools for tracking reporting.
  • 100% budget utilization - Effective and accurate spend of marketing budgets.
  • Partner and work closely with Marketing Service Central (MSC) for marketing execution capacity.
  • Lead Microsoft brand stewardship, ensure GDPR compliance and adhere to Microsoft Accessibility Standards and Diversity and Inclusion principles in all marketing executions.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of proven marketing experience, preferably in Industry marketing. Experience in working at a large global multi-national and/or Technology company a plus.
  • Experience in working with sales stakeholder and track record of marketing impact and influence is a must. Understanding of sales priorities and motivations and ability to help advocate for marketing in conversations with sales organizations.
  • Event management – expertise in event management (in-person and digital) is a must.
  • Must be aware of compelling customer experiences connected to business outcomes and embrace Marketing Automation concepts.
  • Must be a data-driven marketer. Must be comfortable reading and analyzing data, using it to inform marketing plans and prioritize investments and leading data discussions with key business stakeholders.
  • High level of accountability and energy to drive things forward, ability to get things done. Can-do attitude, growth mindset.
  • Broad experience of cross-group collaboration and contributing to team success.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent work experience required
  • Fluent business English and German is a must.
