Reporting to the Director of Marketing and supporting the Marketing Manager, you will contribute to the planning, creation, integration, implementation, and assist with the InSphero marketing campaigns and activities to meet the company’s marketing goals. The position requires a hands-on mentality and offers opportunities to apply and further develop your expertise. Starting date: as soon as possible. Place of work: Schlieren, Switzerland.

Main responsibilities

  • Contribute to and assist in the implementation of the global marketing strategy to further strengthen the company’s market presence and position
  • Support the marketing department’s initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing
  • Assist Marketing Manager in the coordination of European and US exhibitions, conferences and events, including tradeshows, user group meetings and local onsite company events
  • Independently coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, ordering marketing collateral, and cost tracking
  • Assist the content development for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice – website, email, social media platforms, SEO & SEM, PR.
  • Assist the development and maintenance of various marketing collateral, i.e., brochures, flyers, product documents and presentations.
  • Maintain inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials when necessary
  • Support the evaluation and monitoring of campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports
  • Maintain the structure of the marketing database
  • Maintain technical documentation – final formatting of PPTs, protocols, manuals, reference guides, etc.
  • Assist Marketing Director in the development of BOD presentations
  • Liaison between marketing and sales
  • Adhere to budgets amongst assigned projects; monitor progress through KPI tracking and submit quarterly performance reports
  • Monitor competitors and industry trends
  • Serve as support to Marketing Manager
  • Serve as deputy to Marketing Manager

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience in related field
  • 2 years of marketing experience; experience in life-science business is a plus
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports
  • Experience in the design and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Familiarity with software tools required to manage and maintain corporate website (Joomla, WordPress, Google Webmaster/Analytics, AdWords) is a plus
  • Experience with SFDC/CRM
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is a plus
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Strong written and spoken English skills
  • Occasional travel required for setup at EU tradeshows and events
