In order to continue our growth story, we are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our marketing department and provide creative ideas and support to help achieve our goals

Marketing Intern (Business Development/Product Marketing/Trademarks)

This internship begins February 1st, 2023, lasts 6 months and requireson-site presence in our office in Schlieren, Switzerland. As a marketing intern in a cross-functional position, you will collaborate with our marketing andbusiness development team. Your insightful contribution will help develop,expand, and maintain our marketingchannels. You will have the opportunity to contribute to new market developments,which is constantly growing due to the strong focus on innovation atHeiQ. This challenging internship will help you acquiretechnical marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.

Your responsibilities

• Supporting Business Development:
  • Supporting and visualizing presentations (very good Power Point skills)
  • Fulfilling daily business tasks in project phase (communication with interfaces and costumers, monitoring timetable etc.)
• Supporting make-over Sales Collaterals:
  • Supporting and visualizing presentations (finetuning)
  • Distribution of Sales collaterals (hard copies)
  • Stock management of collaterals
  • Coordinating the creation of new fabric swatches of finishing technologies on different substrates
  • Combining new fabrics with new finishes
  • Developing a new fabric swatch format of finishings (e.g., eventually a new visual format per technology etc.)
  • Maintaining the online product presentation library (and optimizing it)
  • Setting up of a new internal order system for sales collaterals
  • Growing network of local vendors for Sales collaterals
  • Daily business support
• Supporting Trademark administration:
  • Creating better overview of all trademarks with status, deadlines etc. (eventually with new Trademark management tool)
• Updating fabric library
• Collection new market developments
• Focus on innovation from new and existing partners

You are

• Enthusiastic about trade marketing and consumer marketing
• Very structured and diligent yet pragmatic and result-driven
• Adaptable and flexible; able to think quickly in stressful situations
• Quick at grasping new information without requiring a lot of repetition
• Fully professionally proficient in English (mandatory for all employees working at HeiQ - additional languages are advantageous)
• a Swiss or EU citizen, already living in the Zurich area (no permit requests or relocation contributions)

You bring

• Very strong PPT skills and proficiency in MS Office
• Fundamental knowledge on a broad marketing mix
• Capabilities to operate with marketing applications, computer software and online applications (e.g., CRM tools,graphic design tools etc.)
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
