Where artists automatically receive royalties for future sales, and where new ownership models are redefined to open up more flexibility for collectors, artists and galleries.

Backed by two of the most influential leaders in the global art world, BCG Digital Ventures is currently building the platform that will become the digital backbone of the physical art industry. Leveraging new technologies centered around distributed ledgers, the platform will enable artists, art institutions, and museums to use a suite of tools to trade art and keep artists connected to their artwork. All while increasing operational transparency and efficiency in what is currently a fragmented ecosystem. We will redefine art ownership and open up exciting new models of participation for private and institutional galleries, artists, and collectors.

Due to launch in 2022, we are now recruiting the future team that will take over the reins from BCGDV and grow this business over the coming years and transform a very traditional industry primed for significant technological disruption. To achieve these goals, we will need a fantastic team to build upon the great work done during incubation and take the business forward.

What you’ll do

  • Work closely with our CMO and support the definition and execution of the company’s marketing strategy and revolutionize the art industry as one of the first employees
  • Be part of building, positioning and scaling the brand image of the business across the globe, generating awareness across multiple platforms and channels
  • Be in the driver’s seat and lead your own Marketing projects in close cooperation with freelancers and agencies and make sure they deliver high quality, unique and outstanding content on time
  • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns based on business needs, including e.g. events, PR, content marketing
  • Utilize a seven figure advertising budget to help reach the ventures targets
  • Build a deep understanding of the market and the needs of our customers and craft the story behind our brand and communicate it successfully
  • Act as an advocate and brand ambassador for the venture at relevant internal and industry events
  • Ideation and execution on multi-channel campaigns across different platforms and ensuring alignment of communications and messaging in line with the overall company strategy.

What you’ll need

  • Min 3 years of experience planning and executing creative marketing campaigns from scratch, utilizing multiple content-formats and channels, ideally in a B2B environment e.g. webinars, events, podcasts, blogs,
  • A passion for building, bringing to market, and scaling products and services
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively: analyze, synthesize, recommend and take actions
  • Experience in offline marketing channels
  • A strong passion for the art industry and innovative technology would be excellent
  • Experience working in luxury goods, arts or other industry requiring careful brand curation and storytelling
  • Ability to analyze the success of campaigns with a solid understanding of campaign metrics and KPI’s
  • Experience working collaboratively in a cross functional environment with other teams and external stakeholders
  • Agile and iterative mindset, and relentless in the search for the next unexploited growth opportunity
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
