Marketing Specialist


Reports to: Metabolics and Emerging Therapies TA (MeTA+) Lead International

Location: Zürich, Switzerland

Position Summary

The MeTA+ Marketing Specialist will be supporting the Marketing Leads by developing, executing, and following International Marketing activities to support maximization of current Strensiq and Kanuma business, and pre-launch preparation for LIBCUVA.

The Marketing Specialist will understand International markets needs and competitive environment, setting priorities to support brand strategy and tactics, and must ensure the respect of any applicable SOP, regulation, company values and procedures as applicable.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in the development of Strensiq and Kanuma disease plans, leading the tactical planning discussions in alignment with the countries.
  • Understand digital customer journey in HPP and LAL-D to generate the appropriate digital resources to maximize impactful communication in International and countries, following the company digital strategy.
  • Implement / execute the annual marketing plans including action plan and associated marketing budget.
  • Liaise with external vendors in implementing communication tools and in developing campaigns and materials / deliverables.
  • Lead International congresses coordinating the efforts of the different functions involved and developing positive relationships with medical societies.
  • Support the needs from the markets and ensure best practices sharing among them to maximize current business and support successful new launches.
  • Lead monthly communications with countries in coordination with the International Marketing Leads.
  • Active participation and collaboration in core team meetings and cross-functional team meetings.
  • Proactively collaborates with cross-functional colleagues in sales, market research, market access, medical affairs, and other departments to better understand and address the needs of our key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 1-year marketing experience acquired in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Strong digital knowledge and experience
  • Strong scientific orientation and background
  • Highly learning agile
  • Strong understanding of a multicultural environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Pragmatic and operationally oriented
  • Planning and organizing skills
  • Customer focus mindset
  • Team player and speak up
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

  • Product launch and rare disease experience a definite advantage
  • Prior sales experience preferred

Education

  • Life science degree
  • Business degree as an advantage
