In this position, you are in a key function and collaborate with BiMOS high-power semiconductor production, research & development and quality management based in Lenzburg, Switzerland. You will be responsible for further development of our products by internal improvements and close collaboration with our suppliers.   • Monitor and evaluate yield and raw material as a basis for improvement projects aimed at achieving sustainable improvements of cost, quality and/or yield
  • Lead and execute improvement projects to optimize product quality, yield, and cost baseline with the help of Six Sigma, 8D, and other methods
  • Ensuring material quality for all raw materials
  • Creation and update of technical delivery instructions (TDI) and Claim management towards suppliers
  • Maintenance and continuous improvement of existing master data
  • Support process engineers and R&D engineers with technical and methodological expertise
Your background
  • Master’s degree in physics, electrical engineering, material science or similar, PhD is preferred
  • Sound knowledge of problem-solving methods and basic knowledge of material science
  • Experience of leading technical projects with engineers, technicians, and supplier
  • Advance training in quality management is a plus
  • Ability to work within an international environment in a matrix organization, complemented by well-developed communication skills
  • Innovation and quality-oriented team player with a high willingness to learn
  • Ability to travel world-wide (ca. 10%)
  • Good command of German and English, both written and spoken (Level B2/C1)
